"These drawings portray some of the great artists of Hip Hop, the culture that I obsessively assimilated as a child. I took a long hiatus from drawing during my twenties to focus on making electronic, sample-based music under the moniker, Chopperman, for the double meaning between chopping samples and flying like a chopper in the sense of a helicopter."
